We are all excited about beginning a new year at Our Lady of Good Counsel. The week in the Media Center will consist of Keyboarding classes. This intensive week is set aside for the fourth grade, and teaches your child the basics of keyboarding. The curriculum includes practice lessons, as well as homework lessons to be completed each evening. We will also be doing internet typing activities to enhance their keyboarding skills as well as using a Typing App on the new iPads. Practice is very important during these keyboarding lessons. If possible, please allow your child to complete their Keyboarding Lessons each evening and email to me. You may also print out and bring to class. The more your child practices between and after these lessons, the better your student will master keyboarding! Good luck and happy keyboarding!
Our first lesson will include logging into our new student emails and learning how to share assignments. All Keyboarding homework typing lessons will be shared through student email to ademarzio@olgc.org with your name and lesson number in subject.
